Joana Sá

15.AUG.2016 | 17:45 | AUDITORIUM

Joana Sá presents “Elogio da Desordem” (Eulogy of Disorder), an interior monologue for piano, accompanied by an installation composed of bells and sirens, toy piano, mini-amplifiers, sound box, voice, and electronics. Evoking instrumental theatre, the pianist explores a musical expression in which, occasionally, speech breaks in, through Gonçalo M. Tavares’ texts. Going beyond the limitations of a piano performer, Joana Sá presents us with a multi-layered choreography – music to watch, listen, and reflect upon.
