Captain Boy (a name inspired by a Jules Verne tale) is Pedro Ribeiro’s alter ego. He’s a vagabond with a hoarse voice and a guitar on a shoulder strap, singing songs that transcend time. His rusty sound brings you on board of an imaginary boat and, just like at sea, Captain Boy is volatile and turns every concert into a distinct journey. This was the first artist to open the EDP stage at the Super Bock Super Rock Festival in 2015. His first album is just out. “1” is a record about frailty, of which “Sailorman” is the first single.
