CONVERSAS AO CORRER DA MÚSICA
“Conversations Carried by the Music” sets off a new thematic cycle at the Auditorium. In between talks hosted by Soraia Simões, songs will be heard.
These afternoons will allow for a close interaction between public and artists, by sharing stories and exchanging experiences, while the author occasionally graces the audience with his music. An opportunity to learn more about the song’s secrets, versions, and motivations, as well as the singer’s journey.
Maybe you know some of them: Trivial Pursuit, Monopoly, chess, domino… But that’s not what this is about.
Nowadays, there are thousands of games on the market and every year new ones appear.
True collector’s items, its design is thought out for different types of players, from those who don’t want to waste that much time learning or playing, to those who spend hours dwelling on it.
There’s a game with a panda that eats bamboo and a gardener who makes it grow; another one that uses dices to build buildings; one of intrigue and deceit, where the players try to unrest each other with treacherous actions; another still to build the largest railway… Curious? Come and try an assortment of games you never thought could exist.
During the afternoon, BONS SONS will project the short films sessions from Portuguese-speaking countries, part of the “Curtas em Flagrante MMXV” collection. This showcase is comprised of the best works of 2015 from the Lusophone realm.

Here, anyone can show their talent. You just have to sign up daily. BONS SONS lends the stage to solo acts or bands, as well as the technical means, allowing unknowns to perform for a considerable number of people.
This stage is a unique opportunity for newcomers to test their projects in front of an audience and agents, but, above all, it’s a way to celebrate music in a happy and relaxed environment.
At Palco Garagem music is for everyone, and it might just be you up on that stage.
WALK & TALK
The exhibition center Armazém and the streets of Cem Soldos welcome the artistic and performative projects that, at the beginning of the week, open BONS SONS’ activities.
In 2015, “Walk&Talk” (São Miguel, Azores), a Portuguese festival of urban art, encourages the interaction and artistic contamination between a large scope of publics who usually don’t go to conventional cultural settings. This project will surely allow for surprising interventions.

MUSIC FOR KIDS
The Festival’s mornings are dedicated to the kids and their families, with specific programming at the Cem Soldo’s Auditorium. From 10 a.m. on, there’ll be the “Music for Babies” sessions, destined to children from 0 to 5 and their parents. From 12 to 12.45 a.m. it’s time for 6 to 10 years-old, with a workshop of traditional Portuguese music that ends in a mini-concert for the parents.
These sessions, supervised by Associação Canto Firme, seek to create playful experiences, raising awareness to music while allowing families moments of sharing.
